Yeah, Tracy. I noted that while airborne. It made no sense to me, but
each time I tried to lean to 9.2 GPH like I had used on the trip 3 days
before (same power setting) the engine began to stumble and lose power. To run
smooth I had to bump the FF back up to 10.3. Didn't make sense to me but I
didn't have time to analyze it at the time.
I'll gather some more cruise number for comparison.

Good info, Matt. My prop control has been getting stiffer. I'll check it
out.

to get any better. Replace it before it becomes a safety issue! Not a
big deal
on the Prop control, but on a throttle or mixture it could be a serious
concern.
