I'm ready to attach the flaps but can't seem to find any information on the placement of the flap hinge on the bottom of the wind. On my RV-9A and on my RV-10 the inboard aileron attach bracket used a flat head screw to connect the push rod from the bell crank. The RV-8 uses a hex head so I would think you would need some clearance for that as well as a little extra room between the aileron and flap but the plans seem to indicate a much narrower gap. Am I missing something?
