Shoot - that is small compared to the Grove price tag.
Thanks,
Carl

Seems like it was about $500. I was kind of surprised at the low-ness of
the credit. Especially considering the comparative cost of the Grove
replacements. That being said, the Grove Gear are *really* nice. Just
don't get the plane sideways or you'll be building a whole new fuselage.
Ask me how I know... ;-/

Note that you can also delete the fiberglass fairings and other associated bit
and pieces which will add up to a few more dollars. Ease of installation, not
having to mess around with yet more fiberglass, and the totally sweet plumbing
for the brake lines make the Grove gear a no-brainer, IMHO.

Thanks Matt.
With the 8A gone the Navy Pilot son is a little pissed as he had his eye on
it. He is somewhere in WestPac on the Nimitz now and at least 7 years or so
away from being in a place to own his own plane so I'm looking to build him
an RV-8. This will be the third build so I may need him to talk the wife
into this deal.
