Here is a source for brass and/or plastic machine screws and washers.
I used all brass hardware to mount the Dynon ans AFS magnetometer /AHRS. I
doubled up on nuts to jam them together as there is no self locking brass
hardware in a #10. I fabricated an aluminum bar that spans the upper
longerons at the third former behind the rear seat. (I don't have plans in
front of me for ref callouts). The aluminum bar is a piece of .040 2024 T3
the width of the magnetometer cases with bent flanges along the length for
stiffness. Attachment to the airframe is with steel AN3 hardware.
