I mounted mine in that very location and it has worked great. Stan Sutterfield Reno Race 84 Thanks to all for the feedback regarding sources for the subject hardware. Guess I should not be so quick to grab the ACS catalog when a trip to Home Depot or Lowes works just as well or better. As for location, I too have chosen the aft fuselage, mounting the ADAHRS (not yet purchased) on top of a tray bridging the upper longerons approx. 6 in. forward of the F809 bulkhead. It will be at least 24 in. from any fixed magnetic source and I=99m keeping the aft fuselage wiring runs as far away as possible. The canopy frame is another issue, but it will only be a potential influence on the ground with the canopy open.
