Subject: Landing gear towers modification
I am now to the point where I plan to cut out the solid portion between the bottom
and middle lightning holes to provide better access inside the towers. I
plan to fab a cover plate to go over this area using plate nuts and ss #8 screws.
If you have opened this area up, or if you have done any engineering analysis of
this mod (Vans has not done any analysis) please let me hear from you, both
good and bad.
