Subject: Jacking up the RV8 using a hole drilled in the U807 wheel pant
flange
A couple of years ago=2C while at Felts Field=2C another RV8 builder sugges
ted I drill a hole in my U807 wheel pant mounting flange to access the gear
leg recess. I could then insert a bolt into the hole and use a bottle jack
to lift my wheel to change the tire.
A slick idea I mentally filed away until=2C of course=2C I forgot most ever
ything he told me.
If you've tried this idea=2C I would appreciate the details.
