I also quit one job so I would have more time. With real estate prices going up I did refinance the house for some funds. Still have avionics, paint, prop, lighting, and upholstery to pay for though. I expect the fuselage in December. Whoaa What a Merry Christmas : ) Having more enthusiasm than common sense I will probably get myself elected as pres. of the local EAA chapter. I am going to try and get a club hanger! More work! I finished wings last winter and was looking at a 12 week lead time for a standard build fuselage and 5 to 7 month lead time for a qiuck build. I went for the standard build and at this point I'm probably at about the same place I probably would have been on a quick build. Starting firewall forward. I do have an 6 months work into it however. Yes, I'm retired and trying to stay full time on the bird. I have designed it to accommodate all the skins used in a RV including the prebent leading and trailing edge skins. I am in the process of developing a website called ExperimentalAero.com. On this website you will find innovative tools and components for your experimental project. In particular I am announcing the DRDT-1 and offering it to those interested. I have listed estimated prices based on three option scenarios. Please take the time to look at the site, give me your feedback and let me know which products are of interest. Keep in mind that the site is a work in progress, so let me know if you find any errors. Thanks, Paul Merems
