Then added sound pad and carpet later. I still have nothing on the firewall and don't think it would make much difference. Most of the noise comes from the exhaust on the floor boards, so carpet and sound proofing work good there.......... Andy, Do you any other listers have any comments about the heat from the exhaust on the floor and hence the insulation? What did builders use on top of the insulation? Aluminium? Hexcel?
