One screw went through the mounting bracket into an existing nutplate that is used to hold cover in front of the spar, and the other side of the mounting bracket is held with a screw and nut through the cover. I bought the 14oz size from www.safeair1.com and had it personally delivered to me by Monte! I think your best bet for dealing with a fire in the cowl is to turn off the fuel and point the nose down.
