--> RV9-List message posted by: "Bill Repucci" <bill@repucci.com> is building an RV without a pneumatic rivet squeezer? Just curious as I'm about to start riveting up my flaps by hand. Do you think it is possible for Van's to design in more rivets than he did? I'm starting to think that 1/2 the RV empty weight is rivets. Ok, enough complaining, time to get back in the basement. --> RV9-List message posted by: "Jim Thorne" <rv7a@cox.net> Nope but I bought a QB. Pneumatic is nice but not necessary. Think of it a part of a gym membership. --> RV9-List message posted by: "SkyKing" <skyking135@mindspring.com> I bought a used pneumatic squeezer off eBay for $150. I've never regretted it one minute. It'll produce superior and consistent results. Well worth the money in my opinion. --> RV9-List message posted by: "Ken Moak" <airplanestuff@sbcglobal.net> Been one of the best tool investments I have made. I am sure I could have lived without it, but building is supposed to be fun.
