Which aircraft comes closest to the RV-9A in feel and handling qualities? I am building a RV-9A and presently flying a Mooney M20K. I have flown the following aircraft: C-150, C-172, C-182, Cherokee 140, C-210, C-P210, and the Mooney. Obviously, please address other aircraft as well. This might be of interest to other builders. But it taught me well enough that the transition was a non-event. I now have 90 hours on my 9A and I can say it's the best airplane I've ever flown in 36 years of flying!
