What's the consensus on the best location to mount a small 2# Fire Extinguisher
in the RV9 cockpit? Mine is about
3 1/2" in diameter and about 12" long.

Mount it on the floor, behind the co-pilot seat, (poprivets) just in front
of the flap actuator on the angled portion of the floor. You can reach it
easily from the pilot's seat and it won't be in the way otherwise. Your
oxygen cylinder will go easily on the aft side of the flap support column on
the centerline. Don't put it anywhere forward since it will always be in
the way.
