I an still in the building process so I cant comment on how well it works. I got mine from Wag-Aero part number C-173-000. The mounting block is a tapered block of plastic and is tapered to fit the general shape of the fiberglass cap of the VS. I have mine with the antennas pointing forward because of interference with the rudder counterweight. I have some pictures if you like.
