Dick,
I'm not sure if I'm just lucky or whether I represent the majority, but my
RV9-A slider is OK. It's a bit reluctant to open, but will start with a bit
of lube on the roller bearings, clean tracks and a bit of muscle to crack
open the first half inch. It was tight at first but works fine now. I
didn't use the little additional nylon slider-on-a-string that the plans
called out.
