It's a bit reluctant to open, but will start with a bit of lube on the roller bearings, clean tracks and a bit of muscle to crack open the first half inch. It was tight at first but works fine now. I didn't use the little additional nylon slider-on-a-string that the plans called out. Ian Brown, "I am having difficulty with the canopy on my 9A.
