My MD/RA inspector has been just amazing at setting me straight about what is really needed and what is hearsay. Most of these guys aren't in it for the money, and if you drive to him and buy a coffee, they will usually fill your head for as long as you wish. I remember my first visit with mine (in Alberta). It took me two more trips to try and remember everything he told me.
