In dealing with all the hassle and expense of ordering things from the US (exchange, GST, brokerage fees, higher shipping, etc.), plus in an effort to support Canadians wherever possible, I'm wondering if there is a Canadian mail order/web supply store that I don't know about (which wouldn't be hard if there's any at all, since I don't know of any :-) Though it would be nice, I don't expect necessarily the selection of a place like Aircraft Spruce, but even if I could obtain "standard" items like extra rivets, bolts, etc. more locally, that would be great. Thanks! You pay a little bit more because it's in Canada but no hassle with the import stuff. Pat in Calgary --- Dan Charrois wrote: > --> RVCanada-List message posted by: Dan Charrois > > > Hi all. They are a smaller family owned firm and are most supportive of small operators, rec flyers and homebuilders. They are happy to deal in homebuilder quantities for AN hardware and carry the Stits product line (and ceconite - not very useful for RV builders I agree). They have a walk-in counter service here in Winnipeg which has saved lots of time for me over the years. Have a look at their web site at http://www.gouletaircraft.com/ for contact info and an overview of the products they carry. Their pricing is fair and certainly competes with US suppliers for smaller items when the $5 Canada Post fee is figured in.
