Sorry Steve ... I will be out of town that weekend. I posted the note on
the Atlanta RV site ... Ohio RV site and also the SE RV site. Several SE guys
said they were interested. I am sending a copy of this to them also.
If anyone in SERV is interested please contact Steve ASAP.
Thanks !!

Let me be the first: I can do the fly-in just as well on the 8th; simply
let me know what will work. I'm not putting alot of prep into this one; just
a
come as you can/ stay all you want/ here's a wiener to roast on the campfire
affair. Won't bother me in the slightest to move or cancel it, but it'd be
fun to have, nonetheless.
What's the interest level in a SERV fly-out to Hummel Field for the Air/Car
show and then on out to Tangier for an island overnight/seafood-stuffing on
Sept. 25-26th? I bet we could get Soapy to attend :-) it's practically his
backyard.

Thanks Stormy .... hopefully we will hear from Mike right away with the
details. He had mentioned to me at Dean's that Sunday that he was planning a
large flyin that weekend but we had not put it on the calendar yet because we
had no details. I will check my schedule for the 8th too ... your place with
the leaves changing has to be great !!
The Hummel Field deal sounds great ... just need to check my schedule !!

Oh well, big setback for me. messed up royally tonight.
While I was adjusting things around, the wing fell off of the stand, and the
rear spar and one rib is now a history. So, need to start that all over
again. Not happy about it.. so hopefully (those who are still building) can
learn from my mistakes :-)

Definitely didn't need this now that the fuselage is on order.. might have
to postpone delivery. not sure yet.

If any of you are looking for something to do on Saturday morning, you are
more than welcome to come up to Mount Airy (KMWK).
Joe Carswell will have the Allegro at the airport from 10 AM to 2 PM (fog
permitting). Many of you saw the Allegro, one of the best Sport Pilot ready
aircraft, in Lumberton, Oshkosh, Sun'n'Fun, and the EAA 1083 meeting, but
you can also check it out at www.bbardaviation.com if you would like. Joe
will also have one of his XAir's at the airport on Saturday.
You can also check out our new flight school aircraft, a 2005 Alarus. You
can check it out at www.newplane.com.
We will have hot dogs from 11 AM to 2 PM (or until they run out). I hope to
see some of you there!

Talk about bad luck! Radomir, don't do anything drastic until you get an
opinion from an A&P type. I know it looks bad (and it may be). The most
serious thing (in my opinion) is the crimp in your rear spar flange.
However, you may be able to reinforce that area and regain the strength.
Hopefully, someone more familiar than I with that sort of repair could
advise. But, as bad as it must seem to you at the moment, it may be
salvageable - I would certainly check with several folks and get their
advise.
I would also post it on the RV-list as I know they have folks there with
considerable experience in that sort of repair.
