It's now sticking out, by about 1/32" on each side. When installed, that allows the bellcrank to actually move up/down a little bit. Is that OK? Also, the nut is barely on the bolt in that situation.. I'd say 1-2 threads are showing (hard to say due to the locking plastic being there).I guess it goes a bit deeper, if we don't count that plastic. Does this sound right? Is bellcrank supposed to move even slightly between the brackets? Thanks! The brass should be whats compressed between the other parts, allowing the bellcrank to spin freely (and go up/down a little). If you aren't happy with the threads showing on the bolt, try a thin washer. If you don't have these already, buy 100. You'll use 'em later. - Larry Bowen Larry@BowenAero.com http://BowenAero.com > -----Original Message----- > From: Radomir Zaric [mailto:vitez@carolina.rr.com] > Sent: Monday, October 04, 2004 10:16 PM > To: rvsoutheast-list@matronics.com > Subject: RVSouthEast-List: aileron bellcrank > > --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Radomir Zaric" > --> > > Hey guys, > > > I'm installing the aileron bellcrank, and was wondering about > the brass bushing that goes through.
