How about some info on time, rwy, L/L, etc. Come in Stormy! By the way my shoulder is sore so don't count on any lumberjack stuff. Steve Glasgow 704-362-0005 704-281-7884 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 09:33:24 AM PST US From: SportAV8R@aol.com Subject: Re: RVSouthEast-List: Stomy's --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: SportAV8R@aol.com Timely inquiry, Steve, as I was just about to post a question to gauge the general interest level... I'm still planning onthe get-together Saturday. Wx prog looks good. Fall colors are just beginning, but promising. No lumberjacking will be expected of guests- that was a joke. I am serious about grilling some shrimp as well as tube-steaks, but need a head count to help with that. RWY info is best had from AirNav.com under airport identifier 12VA. We'll monitor 122.85 on the handie-talkie for a Unicom of sorts. Aiming for an afternoon start time of about 3pm and winding down by 6 to give everyone a chance to get home (dark is about 7 by now). We'll supply food and drinks; no need for anyone to bring anything thing time unless they just want to. Covered dish contributions will not be turned away :-) Len- check with Larry Small to see if he can make it. "Rain date" of the following Saturday would be fine with me, as would Sunday the 10th. I'd be glad to move the event in case of weather or low anticipated turnout; it's a "group call" as far as I am concerned. -Stormy ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 09:50:50 AM PST US From: Lenleg@aol.com Subject: Re: RVSouthEast-List: Stomy's --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: Lenleg@aol.com In a message dated 10/5/04 12:33:48 PM Eastern Daylight Time, SportAV8R@aol.com writes: "Rain date" of the following Saturday would be fine with me, as would Sunday the 10th. If I get a break I may try to do a quick up and back ... just have to see how the week goes and how the morning on Saturday goes. Serving starts at 2PM , Saturday the 9th. If the date changes for the RV get=together this would be a good place to go. ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 05:35:45 PM PST US From: N136CH@webtv.net (Charlie Hall) Subject: RVSouthEast-List: incedence angle --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: N136CH@webtv.net (Charlie Hall) Has anybody had to change the incedence angle? I have to use too much nose down trim to maintain level flight. The elevator is in trail with the horizontal stab. with a lot of trim. I have added 1 washer under the front spar with little emprovement. Any ideas of how much I will have to raise it? ________________________________ Message 6 _____________________________________ Time: 06:07:47 PM PST US From: "Wayne Williams" Subject: RE: RVSouthEast-List: incedence angle --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Wayne Williams" Charlie: This is usually a CG issue. I'd discuss it with Van's before changing the incidence angle. You may be able to fix it by moving your battery to the front, or something like that. I need to know what's best for the bunch of ya. Here are the date choices (all are equally fine with me): Saturday, Oct 9. Sunday, Oct 10. Saturday Ot 16. Sunday, Oct 17. Afternoon fly-in BBQ thing with fall colors to look at, ten adorable puppies to pet, horseshoes to pitch, etc, etc. (If anyone wanted to overnight camp or RON at the house, they'd be welcome to - we will have a campfire going and a place to set a tent, with amenities.) We're talking afternoon here, around 3pm start time, going until everyone has to scatter before dark. Everything on my end is rather easily thrown together at the last minute, so your votes will largely determine the date we do this. But I need to know who is interested in what dates (parties are more fun if your guests show up!) The fall foliage will likely peak here the weekend of the 16th, FWIW. Circulate this on the MARV and OVRV lists, too, please. I don't want to compete with anyone else's parade, but I'd like to invite everyone who might be interested. -Stormy ________________________________ Message 8 _____________________________________ Time: 06:49:05 PM PST US From: TWOBARBEE@wmconnect.com Subject: Re: RVSouthEast-List: Stomy's Fall Fly-in: it's fish-or-cut-bait time! --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: TWOBARBEE@wmconnect.com Hi Stormy, We're be out of town Oct. 9 & 10 for granddaughter's first birthday.
