--> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Larry Bowen" <Larry@BowenAero.com> FYI - - Larry Bowen Larry@BowenAero.com http://BowenAero.com <http://bowenaero.com/> _____ From: Joe Czachorowski [mailto:zackrv8@verizon.net] Subject: RV Formation Ground School Larry, Would you please post the message below to your SERV group. I'll pass on more info as it becomes available. Zack I am putting together a date and location for the annual RV Formation Ground School. The time frame I am looking at is late January or early February. This formation school covers much information about flying close to another plane (formation). If you are considering flying formation in the future, or were wondering what formation flying is all about, this is a good opportunity to gain some information. The RV Formation Ground School is open to anyone who wants to attend (and it's free!) that has even a slight interest in formation flying. The ground school lasts about 2 to 2 1/2 hours and will be held in the morning in a heated hangar. This ground school is geared towards RV's but the general concepts and principals are the same for other aircraft as well. I am looking at a new location this year. It's not confirmed yet, but the Jet Center at Millville airport in New Jersey (MIV) is a distinct possibility. I will let you all know as soon as I can about that location. What I need to know now is who wants to come and how many people you will bring. I also need to know how many planes will attend. The location at Millville can handle quite a few people. But, for planning purposes, I need to know how many people and planes. Please reply to me at zackrv8@verizon.net if you are interested. Zack
