Let me know. Also, if anyone with a spare seat is going by here on the way to Stanton's BBQ I'd like to come along. Otherwise, I hope to see you all here after you chow down. Ed Anderson said he may drop by and a prospective RV-4 or RV-8 builder may drop by to compare. He is 6'3" tall and can't decide if he will be comfortable in a -4. Pray for good weather. Happy flying. Ron Schreck 704-798-5307 (cell) PS: Anyone else who is interested is welcome to drop in. Should be a fun afternoon. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 05:48:03 AM PST US From: bill crothers Subject: Re: RVSouthEast-List: Saturday flying --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: bill crothers ron, your friend needs an 8. no way a 6'3" guy will like a 4. I'm 5'10" and its comfy, but not roomy. Also, whats your size? I'll be glad to pick u up for stantons but the back seat in a 4 is tight. We decided to do airwork around monroe (eqy) and land there. Need the width to do form. takeoffs. bill c. --- Ron Schreck wrote: > --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Ron > Schreck" > > Len, James, Bill, Ken & all, > > Haven't heard anyone confirm if you are coming to > Gold Hill on Saturday. > Let me know. (MRH) It has a considerable amount of restricted space around it from Cherry Point Naval Station. Looks like I either get permission from Military approach or fly way north then down the coast. Thanks! Wayne8A -- No virus found in this outgoing message. However, They may have "adjusted" the restricted areas since then. One suggestion, call the FBO there and if there is an easy route you can bet they will know it. Nice old WWII air port with triangular runway pattern. Several people have already confirmed ... no need to respond just plan or plane to attend !!! Be sure to be looking up for the arrival of "Palmetto Flight" ... we have done some hard formation practicing and plan an approach and pass over Stantons close to 11:00 or a little after. Ron has invited us to come by Gold Hill Airpark after Stantons ... we are also planning some formation practice for anyone interested. See everyone on Saturday !!!
