I counted 9 RVs and a room full of people at Stantons today. James Clark
showed the wood model that is being offered to SERV at a special price ... very
good looking.
Great formation practice afterwards ... James and Ken are teaching the tricks
of the trade to Bill C. and me. Ron Schreck ... ex fighter pilot ... gave us
tips also .... his resume made me sick with envy .... F4 ... F16 ... and
bunches in between.
Great day for flight ... smooth air even low !!!
Next Saturday we have been invited down to Columbia to visit James and Ken as
their EAA chapter kicks off the new year. The BBQ is awesome down their way
... Bill C and I are planning to attend .... we welcome any and all who want
to join up for the trip.

I will post a message this week on a new order for shirts and caps. Company
across the street from my business did the patches and has offered a good deal
on shirts.
I will get the price and post all needed info sometime this coming week.

Len and Bill,
It was great for Ken and me to get to fly with you guys again. Looking
better each flight! And we are all learning a bit each flight.
I think there may be a couple of photos floating around and I remember
Mike/Stu saying in one of the clinics ... "ya never want to be out of
position because ya never know who is taking a picture ... and the camera
won't lie ...". There *might* be a few things worthy of mention in the next
"de-brief" :-)
Those of you who were interested but could not get in apractice today ...
don't worry, there will be many more times. To all of us, keep in mind the
clinic that is coming up in Ohio in April. I know many of you are aware of
the one in NJ in January but are unable to make that.
SERV'ers that go to Stanton's ...
I spoke to the lady that seemed to be "in charge" and mentioned that there
was an obvious oversight on their part given that there were NO RV's on the
wall of pictures in the "Aviation Room". She said she was just waiting for
me (us) to remedy that by providing a picture (or two or three).
Soooooo.... I suggest the NEXT time we go there, we bring along a few RV pix
for her to hang on the wall. I told her I bet there is no other gaggle of
this size that frequents the place that way. :-) I think she appreciated
our attendance and is really serious about getting some RVs on the wall.
