Len,
I'll buy as many caps as you need to make an order. That way the seven that are
spoken for can get theirs and I will have a few extra to sell sometime in the
future.

SERV:
Orders have stopped coming in ... we have not met the minimum order of 12
each on some items ... would love to have additional orders or we will have to
drop some items off the order. Numbers are as follows:
Shirts: 14 ordered We are fine !!
Caps: 7 ordered. Need 5 more orders or no joy !!
T-Shirts: 9 ordered. Need a few additional orders. I am going to ask him
to see if he can blow up to a large size the SERV Patch and place this on the
back of the T-shirt. Could look great !!
Sweatshirts: 4 ordered. Thought this would be a popular item. Need more !!
I will wait another week and see what happens before you guys make a final
decision for us.

Yes, failed to get in on the original SERV custom clothing order, but did
get those patches from Len at Stanton BBQ on the 1st. Since I hang a set of
information data sheets (about the Rotary installation) on the prop, I
thought it would be a great way to "show the flag". Interestingly the only
person that commented on it was Steve{:>). Perhaps we need a larger patch!
We naturally invited all the Florida RV gang to Lumberton in May for the
Mid-Atlantic Flyin. The Lee Ranch Airpark in Florida are having an Rv flyin
in March. I am suppose to get an invite and will see if they would like to
have even more RVs by having the SERV join them. Will let you know.
Was it cold coming in today!. OAT read 44 when I took off from Florida at
0945 today and went down hill the further north I flew. I had 26F at 5500
MSL at Columbia, SC and was getting cold soaked, so decided to descend for
warmer air. It was 23F at 3500 MSL! Got colder the lower I flew.
Great to see Steve and Ron at Lakeland, I figured given the weather than
none would make it form SERV. It was a small group but naturally great
enjoyment talking aircraft and such. A lot of discussion about the potential
cause of the dreadful Cessna 337 accident there on Friday as you might
imagine.
On a happier note, you Should have hear all the RV chatter on 122.75 leaving
Lakeland Sunday - must have been close to a dozen aircraft in 2-3 groups
chatting and forming up for the trip North, trying to find that magic
altitude with a tail wind (no luck that day). Bright sun, blue sky and RV
comrades, What a way to live.
