We lost one of our own this morning.
Will Ramsey went down in northern Illinios after departing Terre
Haute early today. He reportedly crashed in fog apparently trying to
land at or near Rockford, Ill. (The Feds are still sorting the
details)
Chad Williams was at SKY KING this morning and got the information
from Rusty Bode an instructor from SKY KING.(Rusty is building a 6
and is doing quite well with it.) Details are quite sketchy as of
this evening, but it appears he was alone and was found in the
wreckage of his RED and Cream colored RV8. I believe it had a black
and white (or black and red) checkered verticle fin.
Will was temporarily based at SKY KING airport in Terre Haute and was
working at the Newport (military) VX (nerve-agent) gas plant.
Will lived in Texas I believe, and Chad Williams reported that Will
flew the RV8 on a daily basis and had put a fair amount of time on it.
I will pass any more details along as I receive them.

Yesterday an RV 8 piloted by Will Ramsey crashed in/or around
Rochester,IN. I have not heard the condition of the pilot. Will
Ramsey apparently was from Fort Worth, TX. That is all I know ,
