Len,
I made one for my 8A that will work at least as well as the M20. Cost $0
(I had enough Alum scraps laying around to make it) If you had to buy the
material it would be within $10. Took about 3 hours including time for
neighbor to weld it. I was going to send you photos but my camera is out of
batteries.
Come on down to our RV Gathering; You can look at mine, I'll give you a
sketch, and I can probably scratch up most of the materials to make one.

Thanks so much for the info. I am going to try my best to make it down.
Why don't you go ahead and send me the invitation. I now have a good reason to
come. I lived down in Clearwater for 15 years before moving back to NC
about 7 years ago. Still have lots of family & friends in Florida.
If you can still send the pics I would appreciate it !!

Hello all...
I just wanted to shoot everyone a reminder that we will be having free hot
dogs at Mount Airy tomorrow from 11 AM to 1 PM.
Fuel will be $0.10 off for those coming to eat with us. That puts our
price at $2.92 including all taxes.
I hope to see you tomorrow. It looks like we will finally have good weather!

I have the EIS 4000. Gets the job done, but it's a little bit ugly IMO.
The AF2500 is the top dog right now as far as functionality sex appeal
goes. But it's up there in price. If I had to do it over again, I'd
probably try to work it into the budget.

Subject: Gust Per Gallon Discount
So....the sun will finally shine on "free hot dog day" at Mount Airy, but
the wind is supposed to be 10-20 from the North. As a result, I have
decided to change my fuel discount tomorrow due to the high winds.
Fuel will now be AT LEAST $0.10 off. However, the discount will go as high
as the highest recorded wind gust (recorded by AWOS) that occurs by Noon.
If the highest gust is 15 knots, then fuel will be $0.15 off per gallon, 22
knots = $0.22 discount, etc.
As always, SAFETY FIRST.
I hope to see you tomorrow (even if you have to drive up).

Larry,
Yes, I did notice them and thought the plane was very quiet but I'm not
sure I can give you a good answer as my -9 doesn't make any noise yet.
Did you notice a reduction in engine temperatures once you added the
augmenters? (It is my understanding that they are also supposed to help
draw more air out of the cowling.)
