Well ... is the wx going to cooperate ??
Been some talk of those interested in meeting at Statesville, NC to make the
flight over to I39 together as a loose flight .... this will not be a
formation flight .... there are a few of us that will practice on the way over
but it
won't be a large formation flight ... more a very loose group of airplanes
going together .... all are welcome and it should be a lot of fun for SERV to
head over together !!!
All interested please speak up !!!

Thanks.
My wings were ordered back in Oct of 1998. Man, that seems like a long time
ago!

This one's probably been asked and answered a few times, but how much
weight should I have on the tail of my RV-4? I've got a heavy engine/prop
combo and my battery forward. With the aircraft level, I have an empty
tail weight of 39 pounds. In the same condition in a three point stance,
it shows right at 60 pounds. Frankly, the airplane handles well, but that
still seems light to me. What are you other RV-4 guys seeing, please?
Regards,
Lee...

My RV-8 tailwheel was only 44 pounds when level. Even with the elt in the
tail and AP servo & strobe power supply behind the aft storage. If you are
happy with the handling, I'd leave it alone.

Doing an annual, if completed - I plan on attending. Dana wants some rotary
powered aircraft there.
