I can't make Ocrcoke. Both plane and back seater are not airworthy. Pam
had an emergency appendectomy tonight, and my ignition was sent in for
repairs Monday morning.
Earlier, I checked the Captain's Landing B & B (recommended by Stormy) for
availability Friday night, and they are full.

Larry,
I am on the RVsoutheast mailing list, have received mail, but this is
my first time trying to communicate.
On April 23rd the Mount Olive, NC "Pickle festival" will be going on.
On that day at Mount Olive airport (W40) there will be various activities,
including parachutists, visit by black hawk helicopter, barbecue, hot dogs,
etc. and most importantly the fly-in of as many RVs (and other aircraft) as
possible. We would like to invite all the southeast members to come see us.
Starting about 10 in the morning, until.
I would appreciate it if you would forward this to the southeast list.

I have a few bugs to work out. I have a new respect for landing an rv-8.I
have 26 of 40 hrs.flown off so far I am amazed at the performance. I welcome
