Update: just checked the prog charts and TAFs for tomorrow. Looks like a typical
Easter weekend shaping up. 300 foot ceilings around LYH and FAY. In my nearly
half century living in the Southeast, I should have learned one thing: the
smart money is on rain for Easter weekend, with about 4:1 odds. Next weekend,
for what it's worth, is slated to be rainy, too. Something tells me I won't
be eating crab cakes at Howard's with my RV buddies tomorrow. Maybe later.
The 10-day forecast suggests a brief window of no precip on Tues and Weds, where
I might, if the winds are light enough, get the broadleaf control $pray onto
the runway. Timing is everything; there's nothing like having $200 worth of
Banvel and 2,4-D blow all over the hayfields (and all over me) or wash away in
the next shower. Hoped to have this done 2 weeks ago but nature is not cooperating.
Maybe I need to see patients on weekends and be off all week, so I can play outdoors.
As Mr. T would say, "I pity da foo who plans an outdoor activity on Easter.
I pity him!"

Pam's getting better with each day.
Ign came back today. I'll reinstall and run Saturday. Plane wiring, plugs,
etc all seem to be in order, so I have high hopes. If things aren't
ship-shape by Monday I'm ordering another slick mag and retiring the Rose
ign. I'd get a e-mag instead, but I can't wait 60 days for delivery....
The thank you from CRE must have been from the gas purchase....or maybe my
handsome paint job.
