The recreational opportunities on the river in back of the house will be optimum in July, if iwe're not in a prolonged dry spell by then. Should we cancel it and just use the date for a couples' trip instead? (I'm thinking Tangier Island in the Chesapeake Bay, or Ocracoke or Grand Strand - as if I can afford those places at peak season rates ;-) I will be spending the week of July 4th (Saturday - Saturday) at the Grand Strand with my family for vacation .. so doubt I would go there for a weekend just before. Maybe later in the summer something will fall into place for a couple's trip. Meanwhile, I'm inclined to leave original plans in place. If I recall correctly, I have this second-guessing thing with myself every year.
