HBI sounds good to me. Stanton's is open every day but and airshow at HBI
only comes once a year. Looks like the WX may be OK.

Let me hear from you on Stantons .... looks like the wx early on Saturday is
not going to be very good but will improve during the day .... a little of
the same on Sunday but of course we would meet later on Sunday ...

Looks like the consensus is KHBI on Saturday.

Might I also suggest that additionally on Sunday (June 5th) the SC Breakfast
Club. It will be in Cheraw, SC (47J). If the weather is good there is
usually a good turnout. This one is close enough for the NC crew.
If anyone is interested in going as a "flight", let me know.
Another flying opportunity in the area is on Saturday morning, June 18th.
Some members of our Chapter's "242 Flyers" are planning to visit a private
strip near Stanton's to see a few nice planes. Since this is within 10-15
miles of Stanton's also, the SERV gang could visit as well I am sure and we
could go from there to Stanton's to do BBQ lunch afterwards. (as a large
gaggle even) :-)

their answering machine. Called him again this afternoon since he had not
called me back. Said he had just sold the last room! He never checked for
messages.
Anyway.............did a search for other B&Bs on Ocracoke. They are more
expensive as expected but the real problem is that they have a seven day
cancellation policy. Don't think I trust the weather forecast seven days in
advance. If anyone finds a B&B that has a more lenient cancellation policy
please let me know.

Dale, Dean, anyone else not yet registered (Wayne8A, Millsaps...) don't just concentrate
on B there are lots of motels on the island, most within a two block
walk of the Crew's Inn. Hit Google, start calling, get details, post your results
back here for the rest to reference. The RVers may just have to rent out
the entire island if interest is high enough <g>
