The PROG chart looks great but WX still remains in the CLT area and will probably
do so for at least the morning. Maybe things will look better at 11 AM but
KHBI is looking very doubtful.
Help! James what time is the breakfast in Cheraw, SC (47J) on Sunday?
We could do breakfast in Cheraw on Sunday and then head up to the Danville, VA
(KDAN) for the following.
Take-off to Danville! See the Small Aircraft Transportation System (SATS)! FAA,
NASA and 120 industry partners invite you to see the future of General Aviation.
See new microjets, glass cockpit technologies and state of art navigation
systems. Static displays, exhibits and concessions open 0900 -1700, 5-7 June
2005, in Danville, VA (KDAN) FAA Safety Seminars, "Wings" 1000-1130/1230-1400,
5 June 2005 Exciting sessions on synthetic vision, advanced navigation (GPS)
and glass cockpits. A "Wings" event!

I was looking at the weather as well.
It hit me this morning that the airport is CLOSED from 12:00 til 4:30.
Not good with a chance of "iffy" weather. Also, I just replaced the vacuum
pump on "PapaJuliette". Don't want to take a chance with having to sit there
as bad weather potentially rolls in and worry about getting home with a just
installed vacuum pump.
For those wanting to get in some practice, I spoke with Bill C and suggested
a practice down at these parts. Get here before 12 and we will do serious
BBQ beforehand.
BREAKFAST CLUB ...
Some people arrive as early as say 8:30
I never arrive before say 9:30 ... plenty of time to get grits with all the
fixin's.
It ends at 11:00 sharp.
Man and woman traveling farthest distance gets a prize (a good one!)
One lucky person gets a "donation$".
Formation??? If so we could meet at Bennettsville (KBBP) and brief for a
flyover.
Anybody "IN" for that?
James

There is some variability. It ENDS at 11:00 Sharp.
Arriving around 9:30 - 9:45 lets you avoid some of the "traffic".
So does arriving before 9:00.

Hey Guys,
I have a backseat open for the Breakfast in Cheraw, if anyone is interested
in meeting me at Concord Airport at 8 AM Sunday. We should be back by 11
AM.
First come first serve. Send an e-mail or call.
The wife and I just came back from HBI. We had a good time but the airshow
was a bit long and boring. Apparently they had insurance problems and no
one could do acrobatics. The airport stayed open till 1PM and did not
re-open till 5 PM. Lots of locals however (600 est.) and lots of war birds.
Also some good formation.
