Len- is there still an odd man in the SERV group (don't go there!) who might need
a roommate for the clinic? I am getting squirmy about the wx forecast and
might bail on Shine'R, who would then need a roommate again...
Just wondering what the options are.
I hate this summer storm stuff. Yesterday the unforecast late afternoon TSTM's
kept Miriam and me from making a 45 minute flight to see our son on his 23rd
birthday. Turns out we made the right call,as we got hit with TSTM's on what
would have been the return leg last night. @#$%!

Morning fog, low cigs (especially at INT) & mtn obscuration until mid/late
morning bcmg 4500 sct-bkn, hazy. Showers by early afternoon. Tstms later.
Light tailwinds enroute.
More of the same coming back, but fewer showers. Slight headwind.

RE the wx, I hear ya. I went up yesterday evening. I stayed within 20
miles of 8A7 because of the showers in the area...and I _still_ almost got
caught out due to rain. The stuff pops quickly when it wants to.
Oh, and don't forget to keep an eye on the tropical thing brewing in the
gulf....

Had to make a rushed last-minute decision while at work today... LWB forecasting
100 foot ceilings lifting to 1500 feet by afternoon (that's about 3000 feet
too low for me) and ROA looking the same. Stormy's o-u-t. No way to get there
except flying east like "Wrong-Way" Corrigan, and Jon Johanson's already captured
that round the world record.
You guys have a good time. I hope like anything there's another clinic I can get
to.
Later...

You probably have a better shot at circumnavigating the system from down south.
I'll make good use of my time getting the place ship-shape for the 25th.
This was a sad decision... plus I just got word that a builder who had agreed to
sell me a nice canopy cover for half price sold it today after I said I would
take it. His check left here yesterday in the mail.
On one level, a crummy day indeed.

I'll try to join you at 10 tomorrow but don't wait for me. I notice PKB has
a forecast of "40% probability of rain" for Friday. Yik.
