Attach a small disc-shaped bucking bar to his nose and let him do the difficult
part of riveting.
Torque looks like he's already been using his nose to buck rivets - poor thing
<g>!

You might have something, I tried to teach Torque how to rivet tonight,
see attached picture. The only problem he seemed to have was with the
opposed thumb concept.

Put Torque to work buckin' rivets so you can arrive in style next year,
Bill. Meanwhile, I hope you can find an empty seat for next week and
join us.

Stormy,
Let us know what you think of them. I plan on using them on my O-290
powered RV-9 and that little engine will need all the help it can get!

Emagair informs me my order went out today... dual P-mags on the way.
Woo-Hoo!
I'm sure to gain 15 hp and 25 kts (yeah, right...)
But at least I can quit wondering how far beyond TBO a throw-away Slick
mag will actually go.

Hey Stormy,
I have not the pleasure of flying into Hop-Along Airfield. Where are you
located?
Dale Ensing

Me, neither, Dale. It's never a pleasurable experience. Just kidding!!! I love
the "green carpet" treatment I get there every time ;-) Google us on AirNav.com
at "12VA" for precise GPS coordinates. Ignore all the dire warnings about
displaced thresholds, power lines, etc. The lines are buried, the trees cut
back, the field is quite ample for an RV flown by a pilot familiar with "rough-field"
ops. My friends keep coming back for more, so it must be okay :-) -Stormy

Dale, it just occurred to me your question may have been more general in nature:
we're north of Roanoke, VA (ROA) just south of Hot Springs (HSP). On the latest
Cincinnati sectional right next to Riverwood Strip and HOBOS intersection,
by Clifton Forge, VA

Thanks for the info Stormy. I know where Clifton Forge is so that gives me
the general location I was seeking.
Thinking about trying to make. Sounds like a wonderful place.

I think it's going to be fun, Dale. And the Meylors are giving you _their_ place
on the river this time around... can't beat that :-)
We're guessing we need food for at least 25 souls, but attendance has varied from
ten to two dozen at past events. One thing I know: I'd be pleased to be stuck
with lots of leftover BBQ!
Rain is coming down right steady tonight - big summer thundershowers. Maybe we'll
have drier air in place by the weekend.

Steve, Ol' Buddy:
It's time you got familiar with the best site in the whole world wide web for answering
such questions... watch carefully, as I'm only going to demonstrate this
once ;-)
Let me know if that doesn't answer everything you just asked.
