I have a master switch for everything and another switch that turns my EIS
on and off but it does not help. The only way to reset is to pull both
plugs on the back of the unit and plug them back in. I have the autopilot
override switch as well.

Be aware the hiking ones may not follow the signals as fast as we fly. I had
a problem with one in the past. Ask the manu. If it will follow at 225 plus
ground speed. Also I need a date to get these tapes to you or I will forget.

I bought a garmin etrex vista c off ebay. I think I'll be happy with it.
I'll follow up after we've had a chance to use it some.

Are you available to meet sometime this weekend?
Thanks,
