Guys, for those interested, you can go back to the news link and see video
footage of the accident. They got a copy from someone on the beach videoing
the flying.
I've watched it ten times and can't really seperate the RV from the EZ....
until they move away, broken.
It obviously happened right in front of the third man.....
this all raises more questions than it answers....
This is so tragic I can't believe it.......

Subject: | List Digest Truncation Fixed!! |
--> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: Matt Dralle <dralle@matronics.com>
Dear Listers,
I finally figured out today what was causing the occasional
truncation of the daily List Digest emails. Seems that every once in
a while a message would contain a single "." (period) on line all by
itself. The mailers would see this and assume that this was the
universal emailer signal for "end of message", and consequently
wouldn't process any of the rest of the Digest message.
I've put in a filter today to remove any of these sequences so we
should be back in business on the Digests.
Best regards,
Matt Dralle

Dale Ensing
Of course there is: the pilot monitors the CHT's and then makes necessary adjustments
on the ground after the flight ;-)
No FADEC here, just the ability to input MAP into the timing solution if the plumbing's
there.
User has the choice of fixed timing like a mag, or variable based on rpm only or
rpm + MAP.
