They sell it in quart cans. They don't have it at the FBO office. You need to ask their maintenance man to bring some from the hangar. Each have definitely taken the internet "swing" at each other. I got the BMA for the H S I. Whole different algorithm for the AI than the Dynon, too. I put the compass up top for fear of not having any good heading info if total electric failure. It was a hard decision but it's really not in line of site. My LEDs are quite simple; step down resistor in series running parallel line from the power side of fuel pump. No need for a diode since the LEDs keep current flow one way. Could do it for landing lights or whatever. I also have my EIS warning light there and the AOA switches. I kinda feel about BMA the way Matt Dralle must feel about JPI; anyone who disses my homeboy Bob Nuckolls has lost my avionics busuness before he ever got it. That part I am not kidding about. -Stormy -----Original Message----- From: Radomir Zaric Subject: RE: RVSouthEast-List: New panel --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Radomir Zaric" --> Looks great.. I did away with all the vacuum stuff trying to get the best of both worlds- acro and IFR. Don't think there's any production airplane that can claim that! Larry uploaded a pic for me on the pixserv (http://servpix.myphotoalbum.com) Still need to add my labels and complete my homebrew LED indicator light panel. Funny how I like to keep working on this plane even after its flying! If yes, what method did you use to attach them to the gear legs to prevent abrasion to the gear leg and yet not interfere with the gear leg fairings? I can afford to give Richter the cold shoulder because he has so much competition. No doubt he makes a very good product, despite the way he's managed to offend some folks. I choose not to overlook his company's customer service reputation and his demonstrated ignorance of basic electricity (vs. electronics) because I have the luxury of shopping elsewhere. If he were the only game in town, I'd certainly buy his stuff. Why, I've even forgiven Smith and Wesson for selling out briefly to the Clinton gun control scheme since I want one of their wheel guns badly enough (my wish list includes a stainless 686 6" barrel in .357 mag), despite how I felt about the company at the time. So, I'm not really aghast that there's a BMA in your panel :-) as if it were any of my business anyway... Regarding the LED lights, I am intersted in how you implemented the structural part of the installation, mounting the lights and labels and dividers between, etc. I finished the mechanical installation of my Trio EZ-Pilot last evening, and will tackle the electrical part when the harness arrives, hopefiully today. -Stormy -----Original Message----- From: Wayne Williams Subject: RE: RVSouthEast-List: New panel --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Wayne Williams" Interesting how Nuchols and Ritcher don't see eye to eye. Its the type that is spiral like a spring make of a tansluence plastic. I've had it on the left side (where I had previously replace the brake line with the SS hose - should have replaced the right one at that time {:>)) for over 200hrs and it appears to do the job.
