That's wonderful, Wayne. AME and CFI. Where did you find the time to do all that? Congratulations on the son in flight training. I have three kids who will all gladly ride with Dad every now and again, but none show any signs of the bug. I did think my youngest son was going to get the ham radio bug once, but I think girls and music trumped it a short while later (my life story repeating itself?) I'm not sure I will make Pace this weekend either, since my daughter will be home from college and the wx might be lousy. Any chance Chris Leggett will be there, Len? ;-) -Stormy -----Original Message----- From: Wayne Williams Subject: RE: RVSouthEast-List: Re: PACE FYING THIS WEEKEND --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Wayne Williams" This is my backyard-- and a lot of friends. I've done several of the medicals for pilots out there. It's a great group. I'm a day late, though. I (today) committed to attend a CAP class to cert me as a check airman. (This will get my complex airplane time paid for...)a new option now that I'm a CFI. It's only offered once every 4 years! Also (and more important) I've started teaching my 16yo son to fly!! What a great feeling watching him get "the bug". We go up again Sat-- starting to work on landings. Let me know when you need your flight review. An RV would work just fine for me. I talked to Charles Williams (manager?) at Triple W and he has a hanger full of junk that he's willing to clear out. I sent my wife by to take a look and she took a few pictures. I would also like to contact the other two outfits you mentioned. If I can't find their phone numbers I'll give you a call. I currently live in Oregon and I need to ship my kit to a set location in Raleigh. This mean's that I need a hangar before I get there. Or at least, within a day or two of my arrival. This moving stuff is a pain in the #$%. I can't wait until it's over... I'm looking for more of a temporary situation since I don't know exactly where we'll be living in NC. However, the warehouse idea sounds like it might be exactly what I'm looking for. I'll see if I can search out more information. Thanks, Greg >From: "Paul D. He may have some hangers for rent that are a bit newer and cleaner than Chuck Williams.
