Hey Guys,
Bill Crothers is planning another bike trip in the NC mountains this
Saturday at Jefferson, Ashe County Airport (GEV). The leaves and the
weather should be perfect. My last trip with Lynne was very enjoyable and
Bill is a great host. We can go to Stantons or LKR anytime, so I say we
should all try to make it to GEV. You won't be disappointed.
You can spend the night in a beautiful condo on the Golf Course or just make
the bike ride and fly home. The plan is to arrive by 1000, make the bike
ride from 1200 to 1430 and be back at the airport by 1600 or spend the
night, your choice.
GEV is a very easy airport to fly into. Length 4300' elevation 3100'.
Bill needs to make the arrangements, so its time to step up and commit.
I'm in!
Lets hear from everyone else soon.

Sometimes plans change...
I've decided to sell my RV9A QB kit and focus more on flying the 8A. I have
everything needed from Vans and all the accessories. The tail and wings are
completed including tips and electrical. The inside of the fuse is painted
and the firewall is done. Sport AOA installed as well as roll and pitch
Trutrak servos. Asking $34,000 which is parts only and much less than I have
in it. (You will only need seats, engine and instruments.)
