Then for the (insurance required) "recent RV checkout", you can get that done in a day in Florida (down near Lake Okechobee) or Jefferson City , MO or Texas (Alex D) or at the plant in Oregon (Mike S). You can call the airport for more info. I think most RV instructors require you to have a tailwheel endorsement before you do the transition training. I went with Alex in Dallas and was quite happy.
