--> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: sportav8r@aol.com Charlie- we've had this discussion before, I think. You're right. I'm just pragmatic enough myself not to come down too hard on the lesser of two weevils. He may have maneuvered it by some pretty sly politics, but Dubya did set the stage for the Clinton AWB to quietly fade away in '03. This has decreased the resale value of my pre-ban evil black rifle, but I've forgiven him for that. That said, I sorely miss the Gipper... -Stormy -----Original Message----- From: Charlie England <ceengland@bellsouth.net> Subject: Re: RVSouthEast-List: Packin' Heat --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: Charlie England <ceengland@bellsouth.net> sportav8r@aol.com wrote: >--> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: sportav8r@aol.com > >Okay, let's see if I can get through this without my laptop sending it in mid-sentence. --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: Demeylor@aol.com Len, I read all the e-mails but unfortunately have had little to contribute. I have been gone a lot. I do have N661DM home and have been doing some flying. Chelton has finally had a recall on my AHARS. It is the digital gyro that drives everything. I have been promised a fix soon. I have to replace leaking tip tanks next and have some prop repairs. I hope to have it painted some time this winter. Looking for a good paint shop. Would like to have you guys stop by some time. If you there is room for one more RV I would like to catch up with you folks soon. Thanks for asking Dean

Subject: What We Are Thankful For...
--> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: Matt Dralle <dralle@matronics.com> Dear Listers, In the United States, Thursday is our National day of Thanksgiving. Many of us will be traveling to be with our families and friends and share in generous feasts of plenty. Many have expressed over the last couple of weeks how thankful they are for the Aviation Lists here on the Matronics servers and for all of the assistance and comradery they have experienced being a part of the Lists. I think one of my favorite comments is when someone says something like, "Its the first thing I do in the morning while I'm having my morning coffee!". That's a wonderful tribute to the purpose and function of these Lists. Its always great to hear I'm not the only one that jumps out of bed each morning to check my List email!! I'm not sure why, but the number of Contributions have been a little low this year compared to years past. Hopefully people are just waiting until the last minute to make their List Support Contribution this year. Won't you take a minute today and show your appreciation for these Lists and for their continued operation and upgrade? Don't make me beg... :-) lol The List Contribution Site is: http://www.matronics.com/contribution Thanks to everyone that already made their Contribution! --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Bill Repucci" <bill@repucci.com> In speaking with the guys at Dynon they do plan on coming out with "Highway In The Sky" (HITS) functionality in the future. The best part is it sounds like the HITS will be a simple software upgrade. In the meantime I'll have to do with out. FYI, here is the mock up of my panel (http://www.repucci.com/bill/images/panel%20mock%20up.jpg), any input from those of you already flying would be appreciated.
