Lakeland is a long run for a short slide, though. Been there, done that with the wife last April. Not sure I could ever convince her to do that particular one again ;-) What are the dates again? Are there exhibitors or just planes? -Stormy -----Original Message----- From: Ed Anderson Subject: Re: RVSouthEast-List: RV Fly In Lakeland --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Ed Anderson" Its certainly much easier to find a nearby hotel during this event than say during "Sun & Fun" not the traffic to put up with either. Ron and I are going in Cappy's Toy. I just finished the annual and installed an EZ pilot. Can't wait to see how it works. This should be a great event. Who's in? Cappy --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Ron Schreck" My friend, Jerry Cornwell is hosting a fly-in at Little River Airpark in north-central Florida. Steve (every day is Saturday) Glasgow and I met Jerry at the Lakeland RV Fly-in last year. Jerry has an award-winning RV-8. We flew back to Jerry's home at Little River Airpark on the way back to Charlotte. Its a great place for a fly-in, especially in December. Jerry expects dozens of RV's to show up and it should be a great time. Hope SERV Squadron can make a great showing. Here's the information on the fly-in: DECEMBER 10, 2005 (rain date December 11th) FLYING LITTLE RIVER AIRPARK (McAlpin, FL) Identifier: FL10 Coordinates: N 30*07.30 W 082*53.91 Frequency: 122.9 (JAX sectional) Runways: RIGHT HAND TRAFFIC FOR RUNWAY 36 LEFT HAND TRAFFIC FOR RUNWAY 18 Use taxiway located on west side of runway 18/36.
