Stormy I did see just a glimps of you but you were just to fast to cauht.
The wife was out of town this weekend so I left Friday and woke up this am in
St. Augustine. Last nite was Cedar Key. I probable will not be able to go next
weekend but would recomend Flagler for lunch in your travels.Dean

Wx looks like a nice day for flying tomorrow. In fact, I'm surprised we didn't
settle on an organized destination for today. I spent most of the day doing
carpentry in the hangar (new door going in someday), but managed a sunset flight
with my 3y.o. niece.
Dean Meylor came up looking for me last weekend, but we managed to miss each
other (did I outrun you, Dean ? ;-) We could inaugurate a Dean Meylor 400k Run
in his honor: fly to Stormy's for the afternoon and hope you catch him - a
confirmed sighting is worth lots of points or something. Seriously, I'll be
bumming around all day after worship, so anyone so inclined can come over or
suggest another destination of choice.
Wx not lookiing good yet for next weekend; I trust it will change by then.
-Stormy

Okay, Dean. You win the first running of the Meylor 400k since you caught a glimpse
of me :-)
Wife left Friday, woke up in St.Augustine...? Can you remember anything before
that? ;-) Must be some powerful stuff.
Have fun and fly safe.

I'm doing domestic duties and finishing the reinstallation of a mag today,
so I doubt I'll make it anywhere. It does look like a great day to fly
though...

I am sorting that out now.
I figure I might be able to bum a seat back with Ken on Saturday evening
-or-
Wait until later in the week and come abck with Patty
-or-
Bum a ride with one of you guys if neither of the two above pan out.
Since I am a "passenger", I have to remain flexible! :-)

The plan is for she and I to ride down with Patty and Ken on Saturday. If we
don't do that, I will take her down in the Piper.
She has to go back to WORK!! :-) <down near Tampa/Lakeland area>

Trader .... guys Stormy is now a part of the Yankee RV Group !!!
Ditto, Zack.
I flew patrol this evening in the Shenandoah Valley, knowing that my wife
and daughter were returning from DC along that route... 1.4 beautiful hours on
autoplilot, and found out that they did indeed spot me headed in both
directions, from the car (never saw them, though). Landed in the back yard and
beat them home by maybe 20 minutes. Beautiful sunset, warm fire crackling,
leftovers in the oven; I'm feeling blessed, as I should :-)
-Stormy
I did get nervous when the DC ADIZ began to creep into view on the moving
map- reminded me of when this was a free country.

It truly amazes me how a bunch of rivets, aluminum, steel, parts rotating at
2500 rpm, rubber, fiberglass, Plexiglas, 100LL, and oil can be turned into so
much fun and a big s*&
*ty grin! 14 RV's showed up today at CGE. Great fun.. The 9 ship "photo" shoot
was also pretty cool (you guys who participated know what I mean).
Great day to fly. Thanks again for the fun!
