Larry, those look great and are just what I've been looking for. Thanks
for passing that along.
In addition to those, I plan on using these light strips (red, of
course) above my switches.

When I was hunting for interior lighting options long ago, I wanted to
get these nice little post lights, but they were no longer available.
Looks like they're back. Nice...

SteinAir also has those little eye-ball lights in a red LED. I have a
couple of the white, non-LED ones (seems like everyone does), but am not
very impressed with them. Not enough oomph...
Just FYI.

I really like these lights, too. I need something for my switch panel.
Inverters can be bad at causing RF interference, i.e. radio noise. Anyone
heard any problems like that with these light strips?

I just bought two 4' EL strips (I chose aviation blue) for my glare shield and
switch panels... nice looking flood lighting with very little current and very
light weight/compact. I paid about $6 each on eBay. I have not checked for
RFI but the archives suggest a LACK of such problems when I searched the topic.
If there's interest, I can post the eBay seller's link. I think he's got tons
of 'em to liquidate.

That is exactly what I've been hoping for. I was leaning back towards CBs
because I want an indication that something has popped without working too
hard. I called and the fuses are about 45 cents apiece.
Thanks,
Marcus

Hi guys,
Did any of you from the Carolinas overfly Slobovia (north of Jackson
MS) around noon today? My neighbor told me that he heard someone in an
RV call, but he doesn't have a mic for his hangar radio so he couldn't
answer. He said that he saw a white taildragger at MBO in Madison about
an hour later, but never met the pilot.
Sorry I missed you; I didn't get home until around 2:00 today.
Charlie

I just bought two 4' EL strips (I chose aviation blue) for my glare shield
and switch panels... nice looking flood lighting with very little current
and very light weight/compact. I paid about $6 each on eBay. I have not
checked for RFI but the archives suggest a LACK of such problems when I
searched the topic.
If there's interest, I can post the eBay seller's link. I think he's got
tons of 'em to liquidate.

Just FYI.
