I got a flier about it last Sunday at the SC breakfast club gathering. I
gave the flier away cause I thought I wasn't going to be able to go, but I
am able to go now.
All I remember is it is at the Moore County airport from noon till 5pm, a
flyin or drive in, so it should be a good turn out.

Hello all Southeaster RV'ers.
I have talked with the FBO at AVL--they are extending a $.50 per gallon
discount on 100LL. to all of our group. The tower has been notified of this fly
in and will direct you to parking at the CAP building. I would suggest that
you bring wheel chocks with you.
The Big B BBQ also knows we are coming. This one of the best BBQ's in
western NC.
Weather forecast for tomorrow: 8 Kt. at 350 (runway AVL 34-16), 46 degrees,
clear below 10k.

On Saturday, April 22nd EAA chapter 309 will sponsor a builders workshop
for those interested in learning basic metal working skills.
The workshop will include the construction of a Van's toll box. Lunch
will be provided. The class will be held in the greater Charlotte area
(We are still negotiation on shop space). The price will be depend on
space rental but we expect the cost to be between $25 and $35 for the
day's training.
At the end of the day you will get to take the tool box home with you
along with the skills you will learn.
Sign up by emailing me at vanstoolbox@yahoo.com. The class will be
limited to 20 people.
Although the kits are provided by Van's (www.vansaircraft.com), people
who desire to build other types of aircraft are strongly encouraged to
attend.
If you have already built a metal aircraft or are currently building one
and would like to share your experience with others, please email me.
The more instructors we have the more our students will get out of the
class.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Toolbox Kit
Practice Project
The Toolbox Kit comes with documentation, along with all the parts and
rivets needed to complete the toolbox. This training project consists of
several pre-punched parts that are riveted together to form the box and
lid and a hinge to hold them together.
This training project will give you the chance to try several different
styles of riveting, using aluminum parts identical to those that make up
the airplane. The completed toolbox is just the thing for a traveling
tool kit when your RV is done or for holding your safety wire supplies,
etc. Finished toolbox measures 16"L X 6"W X 4"H.

All,
Those Not Delivered 'cause its Spam messages aren't coming from Matronics and messages
are in fact being delivered to the List distribution. Someone on the
Lists is returning those messages. The return messages themselves don't seem
to have the actual email address of the person sending them. I'm running my Email
Weasel right now, which should hopefully "weasel" out who the person is and
unsubscribe them.
