Can someone with an RV-8 tell me how many degrees of throw you have from full
aileron deflection right to full deflection left? Maybe use a digital
protractor on the side of your stick and take a measurement for me?
Multiple answers would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Stan Sutterfield

I know of a Southwest Captain who added two rear-facing children's seats in
the luggage compartment. Seems like he also used an IO-540 in it. I can get
his name and more details if you're interested.

Without measuring I'm guessing 30 degrees each way. What seems to be the problem?

Stan,
I measured mine at 45 degrees total throw from extreme left to right.

Okay, since you want it that way, Stormy's okay with a Thursday-Sunday itineary.
I'll tell the staff to block me out on Thursday and let my right-seater know
of the change in plans. All wx-permitting, of course.
Where and when shall we plan to meet up? I'll be stopping over in Washington Co.,
NC on the way down and back. Planning on HB camping, too.
