Great Garmin Customer Service

      Must tell you guys about my recent experience with Garmin.  My 295  stopped 
      running on batteries .... would run when pugged into the cig lighter but  not 
      batteries.  Stopped by their booth at Sun N Fun and asked the guy about  it.  
      He offered to fix it for free even though I have had the unit for  years.  Said
      
      there had been some problems on this unit with a broken wire  in the unit.
       
      I sent it in and just recieved a brand new unit ... they put a note in  
      saying they saved all my settings and transfered them into the new unit ... all
      at 
      $0.00 ...
       
      Gotta love it !!
