Great pictures of the new "Miss Izzy" and the formation flying by Palmetto
Flight. You guys were the highlight of the Fly-In! Thanks so much for
taking the time to participate and helping make it a terrific day at
Ridgeland. I thought your first pitch-out was particularly good, the
interval was right on the money with everyone on the same radius and speed.
It was really beautiful from the ground. I know how hard it is to get
breakups right, a half second miss on the interval and it doesn't look so
good. Congratulations to all on a great job.

I was a little worried about Len, though. Did you get your trophy home
safe and sound? You wouldn't put it down while you were here in
      Ridgeland!!!!

I finallly finished flying all the CAP cadets in my RV and both of the hot
dog vendors around 7:00 pm. Stalled it big time demonstrating steep turns
to one of the cadets. I had forgotten about high speed stalls and hadn't
done one in awhile! Great fun!

I'm looking forward to next year. Really hope you guys can participate in
the race next time!! Thanks for playing!!

      We enjoyed being there Lee.

Thanks for inviting us to such a nice event. I know a lot of work went into
      making it happen.

I wish we could have run the race as well but other "engagements" made that
      not feasible.

By the way, for next year, you might want to see if there is a way to
account for winds. Depending on when someone flies the course, there could
be say a 10 knot average difference in time. I know that early in the
morning was still but later there was headwind (and bumps :-} ) to contend
      with.

Regarding our routine ... thanks for the compliment. We are always looking
to improve so feedback is welcome.

      James

Charlie, I had a gallon of the newer higher flash point brake fluid. It
even survived my hangar being destroyed, but unfortunately, I can not seem
to find it. Probably put it one of those safe places where I would never
forget it , checked my workshop and hangar and can't find it. The only hope
is that perhaps I never took it home but placed it in one of my neighbor
hangars and forgot that I did .

If I find it in the next day or two, Id be more than happy to give you what
      you need.

I just put together a little bit of footage from our practice session on
Saturday before the two events we had.

It was going to be the debut of a 5-ship routine but one ship had some
problems so we dropped back to 4-ship.

Would like to "UPLOAD" it somewhere but we are talking on the order of
      100MB.

Any takers?? If so contact me via email or phone ... 803-238-2113

      Thanks!!

      James
(just signed up for the Google Video Upload but they take days to review th=
      e
video before letting it go public)

      Any other suggestions?????
