Hope you realize that Raleigh is 80 miles away to the west. But Greenville is a city of 70,000 and the home of ECU one of the largest University's in NC, I don't know were you are from so I don't know what you know about our area. The airpark is 5 miles outside Greenville and to the South of the city. hope that helps George ----- Original Message ----- From: "Greg Vouga" Sent: Wednesday, May 17, 2006 6:12 PM Subject: Re: RVSouthEast-List: Fy In Community > --> RVSouthEast-List message posted by: "Greg Vouga" > > Where is the airpark near Greenville? I think all of the training can be accomplished in the experimental but I will call the FSDO people to ask about the checkride. Randy Utsey D.J. I since ordered an 0 320 and am going to order the lower cowl for the 0 320 from Vans. If you know of anyone who could use a new 0 360 lower cowl please contact me. I will sell it for half price, I'm in Canton Georgia just north of Atlanta. The way the regs read, you can use the aircraft for any "non-commercial" purpose. So, as long as the activity generates no profit, you should be good to go. In my opinion the check-ride would also be okay, as the examiner is charging for his time and not the aircraft.
